My Favorite Songs
- #1 - Mama
- "Mama" is arguably my favorite song of all time.
The song is about 5 minutes long and changes styles multiple times throughout
its duration. However, it maintains a steady, engaging theme. - #2 - Kill All Your Friends
- "Kill All Your Friends" is a really interesting song. It was originally
going to be a part of their #1 album Welcome to the Black Parade,
but it got pushed to the B-sides. It's a fantastic song that really
deserved to be on the full album - #3 - Welcome to the Black Parade
- Welcome to the Black Parade, the title song to the Welcome to the Black
Parade album, is arguably one of the greatest songs of all time
in the pop punk genre, is so well loved that there are multiple
video essays written on how that song created the pop punk genre.
Fun Fact
MCR was came together in 2001, broke up in 2013, then got back together in 2019,
announced a tour in 2020, postponed the tour to 2021 due to COVID, postponed the
tour again to 2022, and finally started the tour a few weeks ago. (I'm going to
their Denver show at the end of September!)
